Reiki for Everyone
Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is a combination of two Japanese words rei and ki meaning universal life energy. Reiki is an ancient laying-on of hands healing technique that uses the life force energy to heal, balancing the subtle energies within our bodies. Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental and spiritual imbalances. This healing art is an effective delivery system. The Reiki practitioner serves as a vessel that supplies healing energies where they are most needed. Reiki’s ki-energies flow out of the practitioner’s body through the palms of the hands while they are touching the recipient’s body.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A REIKI SESSION
You will complete a confidential client history form that outlines the areas in your body and life that you would like the session to focus on. This will also help me monitor your progress from session to session. Once you have asked any questions you have, you will lie fully clothed on a therapy table and relax. I will place my hands over your body over various parts in a sequential method. At the end of the session, you can discuss any questions you may have with me.

Feel the Difference
Reiki energy works on all levels and is therefore holistic, dealing with physical to emotional, mental and spiritual as needed. By working in this way it ensures the cause of the illness is treated, instead of only the symptoms. It is known from a holistic viewpoint; unless the underlying causes of disease or illness are dealt with the person may become ill again. Reiki can provide a long term solution rather than a short term temporary fix.
